Wash your face with your regular facial cleanser and wait for about an hour without applying any moisturizer. Depending on your skin type, you will experience different things.
Feels tight, and I see dry patches in some areas (dry skin).
Develops small flakes and is slightly red in various areas (dry and sensitive skin). Feels tight but is still oily on the nose, chin, or forehead (or oily on all these three areas, the so-called T-zone) (oily skin).
Experiences neither tightness nor much oil in the T-zone, feeling similar to right after I've washed my face (normal skin).
Has drier patches and feels tired and lacking elasticity (mature skin).
Normal skin is characterized by normal-sized pores and moderate sebum production. The skin is smooth and relatively problem-free. Normal skin can be oilier in the T-zone and may also experience dryness in some areas.
Cleanser: Aqua-Boost Cleansing Gel
Serum: Snow Mushroom Serum
Face Cream: Perfect Prep Day Cream
Combination skin, also known as mixed skin, typically has normal to larger-sized pores and an oilier T-zone. Dry patches can also be present. Therefore, it often requires balancing sebum production and providing moisture to the drier areas.
Sensitive skin easily reacts and can become red, irritated, and dry. It can react to both internal and external factors. Sensitive skin often requires moisture and gentle products. If you have sensitive skin, it's advisable to avoid strong products that contain, for example, acids. Sensitive skin can be a temporary condition as well.
Dry skin is characterized by small pores and minimal sebum production. The skin may feel tight, especially during the winter months. Dry skin ages faster and requires a lot of moisture. It can also be sensitive to external stressors.
Mature skin often has fine lines and wrinkles. The skin may also have some pigmentation changes. As people age, the skin loses its elasticity and is often perceived as dry. However, mature skin can also be oily.
Oily skin often has larger pores and high sebum production, which makes the skin appear shiny. Oily skin has an increased risk of acne and blackheads. It's important to use products that regulate sebum production.
Of course, more products work for each skin type. These are just three examples of products that work. You can find all recommended products for each skin type under "Shop by skin type".
